William Pinnegar

William Michael Pinnegar, known to his loved ones as Mike, passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 69 in Thousand Oaks, CA. Born on February 15, 1954, in Paducah, KY, Michael was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Mike proudly served his country in the Vietnam era and was United States Navy Veteran. His military associations were a significant part of his life, and he carried the values and camaraderie of the Navy with him throughout his years.
Beyond his military service, Mike had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He was an artist and poet, finding solace and inspiration in the creative process. He also had a passion for electronic dissection, exploring the inner workings of various electronic devices. In addition, he dedicated time to theological studies, deepening his understanding of spirituality and faith.
Described as the king of dad jokes, Mike had a vibrant personality. He was a people person, always making those around him laugh with his witty sense of humor. His storytelling skills were exceptional, captivating his audience with tales of his experiences and adventures.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Pinnegar, their daughter Misty Pinnegar, and his sons Jeremiah and Joshua Pinnegar. He is also survived by his brother James Pinnegar II and his wife Kim, as well as several cherished grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Pinnegar, his mother, Anna Pinnegar, his brother Jeremiah Pinnegar, and his sister Cynthia Hernandez.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2023, at a private residence. Please contact Reardon Funeral Home in Simi Valley, CA, for the location details. The funeral home has been entrusted with assisting the family during this difficult time.
