Mary Ann Bolognia-Ross, 69, of Pahrump, NV, died Jan. 2, 2022, Naperville, IL.
She was born on March 6, 1952, to Alfredo and Rosemary Bolognia in Berwyn, IL.
Mary was the proud owner of three travel agencies in Simi Valley, Moorpark and Carlsbad, CA and attended College of the Canyons.
She lived in Simi Valley most of her life before moving to Pahrump, NV in the late 90’s. She traveled to many corners of this Earth and had many adventures in Italy, England, Australia, Tahiti, Portugal, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, Florida, and many other parts of the USA.
She married David Ross in the early 80’s and they had her 2 children with former husband Robert Guerra, Maria Guerra and Angela Guerra and 4 grandchildren Roxanne, Jacob, Daniel and Annarose. She worked as a Travel Agent and Travel Educator, and was retired, however she kept busy caring for her father and volunteering at the local food pantry. She was so proud and supportive of both of her daughters careers and aspirations.
She was an avid baker, loved cooking (and was excellent at it), Scrabble player, painter, Christmas enthusiast, loved crossword puzzles and shopping, and a quite excellent event planner. Mary was also the full time caregiver for her beloved Dad Fred Bolognia for several years. The two of them were two peas in a pod and loved to eat out, play the slot machines, travel to Chicago to see family and watch western movies together.

friends. In addition to being so close to her family the Bolognias, her extended family included the Hutters, Andersons and Guerras.
