Kenneth Isham

April 24, 1957 — June 11, 2023

Kenneth 'Ken' Paul Isham, passed away on June 11, 2023 at his home in Simi Valley, where he resided with his Wife and dogs Kahlua and Dodger.
Ken was born in Binghamton, NY April 24,1957 to Claude and Jean Isham. He relocated to California in 1971. Among the different range of jobs he had, one of his favorites was at Michael’s Shoes in Agoura Hills. He made many great lifelong friends there. Ken loved music, his favorite band was The Doors. He would sing the songs and sound exactly like Jim Morrison. Some of his other favorite bands were Journey, Steppenwolf, AWB, and he loved Barry White. Radio station of choice was always KLOS 95.5, Mark and Brian got him through his drives to work and his work days. Good music always makes the day better. Ken was always cracking jokes, always made light of bad situations. As his daughter Kimberly says he had his “dad humor." One thing everyone always remembers about Ken is his passion for cooking. He always made the best food for family parties and BBQ’s. His joy was being able to have everyone taste his yummy cooking, even though he was always the last one to eat. He had to have every cooking gadget and ordering online became his favorite past time which we all discovered too late. His cooking will be missed.
Ken is survived by his wife Jeanne Marie Isham; his mother Jean Isham; his sister Erin Carson (husband Darren Carson); daughter Kimberly Isham; son Christopher Isham (Wife Jen Isham); Grandkids: Isaac, Symphony, Ally, Isabella, Slash, Zayne and Sixx; and many cousins and friends. Ken will be missed, his memory and legacy will be carried on by all the hearts he touched and the people he always made laugh.
“People fear death even more than pain. It’s strange that they fear death. Life hurts a lot more than death. At the point of death, the pain is over. Yeah, I guess it is a friend.” - Jim Morrison
“I want to have my kicks before the whole shit house goes up in flames.” - Jim Morrison
