Josue Nathanael Chaidez

July 12, 1984 — March 17, 2024

Josue Chaidez was born on July 12, 1984 and passed away on March 17th, 2024. He spent most of his life in Simi Valley, CA  where he graduated from Royal High School and would later earn a Bachelor’s degree in history from Cal State University Northridge.

Josue was a loving son to his parents and a supportive brother to his siblings. He took great pride in teaching his nieces and nephews different sports and going camping with them. One of his greatest priorities in life was to always be there for their activities and to spend time watching movies with his nephew. His close friends will always remember him for his great sense of humor, adventurous spirit and warmhearted kindness.

Josue was an avid athlete who could hold his own in almost every sport he played. However, his favorite sport was soccer, which he played most of his life. He was best known for playing as a right back and loved going in for slide tackles. Josue’s love for the Dodgers also cannot be understated. He enjoyed going to Dodger Stadium with his loved ones to cheer on his favorite team. As an outdoor enthusiast, Josue loved to spend his free time camping, rock climbing, and finding any excuse to get out in nature. Some of his fondest memories were going on a yearly Yosemite trip with his “Yosemite Six” crew. Spending these days hiking, sleeping under the stars, and laughing with his friends always filled his spirit with the utmost joy.

Josue made such a positive impact on all of our lives and will truly be missed. Let us never forget his loving spirit.
