Elsie Powell

Elsie Mae Powell, 82, of Simi Valley, California, passed away peacefully, at her home in Simi Valley, on December 1, 2014. Visitation will be held at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, at 2636 Sycamore Dr., in Simi Valley on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Stonebridge Community Church, 4832 Cochran St., Simi Valley, CA on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00am with Pastor Jeff Cheadle officiating. Funeral arrangements are being held by Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home.
Elsie Powell was born in Crocker, Missouri, on November 24, 1932. She graduated from Crocker High School in Crocker, Missouri. Elsie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ralph Powell and her daughter, Linda Powell, and other family and friends.
Elsie is preceded in death by her son, Michael, her parents, Bessie and Jessie, and two brothers, Edward and Charles. The family of Elsie Mae Powell would like to thank the numerous caregivers who lovingly cared for her during her lengthy illness.
