Diana DeMello

August 22, 1937 — July 21, 2022

Diana Jacqueline DeMello, 84, of Ventura County, passed away on July 21, 2022. She will truly be missed by many.
Diana was born on August 22, 1937 in Honolulu, HI to Anastacio and Elizabeth Rivera.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her genuine love for others, and her way of making those around her feel important, will forever be remembered.
Diana’s favorite pastime was watching the LA Dodgers play. She was such a die-hard fan, she could tell you everything about every player, as well as that of each and everyone of their families. Her Dodgers knowledge was quite impressive.
The most important thing to Diana was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. If you asked her what she was most proud of, she would tell you it was her three children – Renee, Evaeon and Donnie.
Diana is survived by her three children, Renee Rick (Shane), Evaeon Asiatico (John), Donnie DeMello Jr., grandchildren Christopher Asiatico (Frank), Derrick Williams, Leighton and Karsen DeMello, great-granchildren Mason and Emma Williams, sister Rosie Ometer; 9 nieces and nephews and their families.
Diana meant so much to so many, and her loving and giving nature impacted others in awesome ways. We are all blessed for having had her in our lives, and her infectious smile will forever be embedded in our hearts.
