Obituary:
In Loving Memory of Beverly Sue Staples

Beverly Sue Staples, born on December 17, 1945, in Friend, Nebraska, passed away on March 19, 2024, in Simi Valley, California. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend.

Beverly had a remarkable career spanning 23 years in Special Education at Sycamore Elementary School. Her dedication extended beyond the classroom as she also served as a bus driver and teacher's aid. Beverly's passion for helping others led her to volunteer at the Ronald Reagan Library for many years up until her passing in 2024. Her commitment to shaping young minds and giving back to her community left an indelible mark on all those she touched.

Graduating from High School in 1962 and later attending pilot school in the 1980's showcased Beverly's thirst for adventure and excitement. Her willingness to explore new horizons defined her character.

Described as caring and welcoming, Beverly had an innate ability to be an instant friend to all who crossed her path. Her patience, strength, and kindness were evident in every interaction. She found joy in music and dancing, hobbies that reflected her vibrant spirit and zest for life.

Beyond her professional and personal achievements, Beverly's proudest accomplishments were being a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and a loyal friend. Her unconditional love and support created a strong foundation for her family.

In her leisure time, Beverly enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and hosting family get-togethers.  She spent many years travelling with her husband Harold to attend the dozens of marathons he ran. As a member of the Santa Rosette Cloggers, she shared her passion for dance with others. Her granddaughter Maggie carries on her tradition of clogging today.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Harold Staples, daughter Brandy Staples, son Jeremy Staples; her grandchildren Steven Fidermutz, Michael Fidermutz, Bradley Fidermutz, Jeffrey Fidermutz, Katie Fidermutz, Maggie Johnson, Makayla Madrigal, Lillian Staples, and her 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in her passing by her parents Velma and George Whiteford Sr., her beloved sons Richard Scott Fidermutz and Daniel Staples, as well as her beloved dog Jasper.
