Anthony Joseph Casey, 78, of Moorpark, California, passed away on January 7, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Anthony was born on September 16, 1942 to John and Jennie Casey in Santa Monica, California.
After graduating Saint Monica's High School in 1960, he went on to receive his AA degree from Santa Monica City College.
Shortly after, he started a job at the American Automobile Association when he met Carol Collins in 1966. They wed in 1969, going on to have two children, Brian and Jon. He then landed a job at GTE which later became Verizon where he worked for 39 years retiring as a Senior TFA Specialist in Inventory Management.
After he retired in 2007, Tony spent his time golfing and volunteering at Holy Cross Catholic Church where he was an usher, in charge of the Together-In-Mission campaign and counted the collections every Monday. He loved visiting his #1 Son and grandchildren in Bellingham, Washington and his #2 son in San Francisco.
He is survived by Carol his wife, his two sons Brian and Jon, his daughter-in-law Amy, his two grandchildren Megan and Sean, his sister Mary Ellen and her husband Joe, Rover the desert tortoise, dog Oliver, grand dog Fletcher, and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
