Allen Brasher

Allen Brasher, age 66, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Simi Valley on the morning of August 24th, 2019. Allen was born in Glendale, California on December 9, 1952 to Earl and Mary Martha Brasher. He grew up in Panorama City, California and graduated from Monroe High school in North Hills, California.
He has been a resident of Simi Valley for the past 17 years after living in Oregon and the San Jose area for several years. He worked for Minolta for 16 years as one of their techs, loved to do wood working and glass etching and he and his best friends loved to work on, as well as restore, classic cars. Allen was an avid scuba diver, loved the water and sailing with the guys in their younger years. He was also very active in his church and in serving others.
Allen married the love of his life, Barbara, on November 26, 2016 and together they resided in Simi Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, sisters, Rochelle and Toni (Steve), nephew Bill (Meredith), nieces Diana (Tim), Tiffany and Toni Adele (Jason), four stepchildren, Erin (Tom), Brian, Shaun and Kevin (Sara), twelve step grandchildren and six great nephews and nieces.
He was loved by all that knew him and he truly loved and cared about his family, his friends and remained steadfast in his love and loyalty through the years to all of them. He will be sorely missed.
