Aldo Mauro Pacifici born March 21st, 1969 took his place in Heaven on January 11th passing from complications of COVID-19.
A beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Aldo is survived by his parents Marilyn Peshek of Carson City, NV and Mauro Pacifici (wife Shirley) of Simi Valley, CA, brothers Dino Pacifici (wife Susan) of Charlotte, NC, Dante Pacifici of Reseda, CA, Marc Pacifici of Las Vegas, NV and Paul Pacifici (wife Hannah) of Las Vegas, NV. Aldo was a treasured Uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well.
Aldo loved to swim, play video games, watch wrestling and movies (especially GREASE). He was a joy and gift to his family, brightening the day for anyone that came in contact with him. Aldo began preschool at New Horizons in North Hills when he was just 18 months old. He went on to graduate and started working in the New Horizons workshop. Eventually, Aldo worked at Sam’s Cafe (also part of New Horizons). Aldo was blessed that New Horizons provided various programs for most of his 51 years including residential living, which allowed him independence in adulthood.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to David Carter, Aldo’s primary caregiver the last three years and for his love and devotion, especially during these past few months.
Due to COVID restrictions and concerns, the family has decided to have a celebration of Aldo’s life at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to New Horizons in Aldo’s name either online at
