Lewis Sciarillo

Lewis Sciarillo, a Simi Valley resident for 66 years passed away on January 6, 2022. Lewis was born on July 25, 1922, in Ossining, New York. He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War.
After serving in the military, he attended college and graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He moved to Simi Valley in 1955 and began his teaching career, teaching High School English. Over the years he would teach at both Simi Valley High School and Royal High School. He also taught Beginning Spanish night school once a week at Moorpark College for several years.
Lewis is survived by his daughter Karen Willis, and three sons; Reed, Keith, and Allen Sciarillo, seven grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima church followed by a committal at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Simi Valley.
