Obituary

Obituary for Daryl Todd Pauley

Daryl T. Pauley, passed away at the age of 61 at his home in Simi Valley, California on March 23rd 2020. He ultimately lost a long and difficult battle with Parkinson’s, but he never gave up the fight.
Daryl was born on a beautiful October 4th in 1958 to Wallace and Maryanne Pauley in Cincinnati Ohio where he grew up alongside his brother and sister’s. Daryl was the baby out of the four children to Maryanne and Wallace. At the age of just five, Daryl and his family made the move to California where he grew up and lived the remainder of his life. Together, they watched their family home being built in Simi Valley, CA where Daryl would spend many happy hours playing in the orchards, and eating his fill of oranges, around their family home.
Daryl graduated from Simi Valley High School and went on to marry his high school sweetheart Stacey Beeber. They were married for 38 years of the 42 years they were together. They had three beautiful children Mindy, Brandon and Mallory that were Daryl’s pride and joy.
Those that knew him, know how many passions he had and how hard it was to keep up with them all. Some of his favorite hobbies included wood working, gardening, fishing, and cooking of which was one of his biggest passions. He often showed his love with food by always trying to feed anyone his latest recipe. He used his passion for cooking and entered the local chili cook off competition multiple times. He even won first prize once for his chili recipe.
Daryl is survived by his Wife Stacey, his three children Mindy, Brandon and Mallory, his sister’s Sonia and Sharon, as well as his brother Doug. In addition to his 9 grandchildren, Victoria, Anastasia, Emma-Leigh, Alison, Paisley, Harper, Jackson, Olivia, and Holly.
Daryl is preceded in death by his mother Maryanne Pauley and his father, Wallace Pauley.

Dear Uncle Daryl,
We miss you so very much and wished we still had you here. Your infectious laugh and smile that goes miles was something we will always remember. Something I always think about when growing up was your killer "Curly" moves and how you would act out all of the characters of the Three Stooges by yourself as if you were all 3! It made me laugh and shake my head. I remember Aunt Stacey rolling her eyes at you everytime you did this. You know I am right! Something else that sticks out to me about you was your love for cooking. You made some of the best meals and served it to your family with the biggest smile and excitement for us to take our first bite. Your anticipation was fun to witness.
Thank you for the many years of love and fun memories you have given to our family. You will never be forgotten. It was a privilege to be your niece.
With love from the whole Brewer Family!

Dear Daryl ,
Dad and Mom brought us to California when you were a baby.
Our first home near the beach, a move to Reseda , and finally Simi Valley in 1965.
I have fond memories of our childhood; playing Flintstones with Sharon and Doug.
The neighborhood kids playing in the orange groves .
Your love of cooking ( Cincinnati chili - Uncle Als visits ); gardening; and of course The Three Stooges ! You never lost your sense of humor !
I will miss you so very much .
May your passing open the door for others.
Luke 11:10
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds and to him who knocks, the door will be open.
We love you so much Daryl . We will see you someday .
Dennis and Sonia XO
